Summer Simple Service - June 14th, 2020 - Sermon
"Simple Services" start this Sunday, June 14th at 10:00 a.m.
Our Simple Services will be led by leaders in our church at multiple outdoor chapels in and around Athens.
We have 6 different locations alongside a Zoom Online Community option that will meet simultaneously for worship together! As you might guess, we have never done anything like this before. It requires preparation and intentionality. Our main registration window has closed, but you can check in with Tex Bagley, our Pastoral Associate, to get connected to a group. Each week we will post an audio version of the Sermon being read at each outdoor chapel, from Fr. Daniel Adkinson, along with the bulletin being used. These resources will serve several purposes:
The audio and/or bulletin resource for our Zoom Online Community can be found here.
Outdoor chapel participants can view and/or download the weekly bulletin.
A resource landing page if our outdoor chapel participants need to join the Zoom Online Community in case of inclement weather.
A sermon resource for our podcast subscribers or anyone who would like to review the Sunday message.
Our hope and prayer is that God would use this unique season for us to regroup and regather before we relaunch our more normal services in the Day Chapel in August.
